When is the best time to go to Sant Ponc?

The best time to go to Sant Ponc is during the shoulder seasons of May, June, and September, when the weather is pleasant and the area is less crowded. These months offer warm, sunny days great for exploring the natural beauty of the region, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C. You'll find it ideal for outdoor activities like hiking along the lake or visiting the Sant Ponc reservoir. Couples looking for a peaceful escape will particularly enjoy these months. You can take tranquil walks, enjoy meals at local restaurants without large crowds, and experience the natural surroundings in a relaxed setting. The lack of peak season crowds means a more intimate and enjoyable experience. For families, late June and early September are excellent choices. The weather is still lovely for children to enjoy outdoor play and the water, but the intense heat and larger crowds of July and August are avoided.

Top Sant Ponç Hotel Reviews

Silken Platja d'Aro

10/10 Excellent

"The atmosphere at this splendid hotel was so inviting and peaceful that regardless of how your day was going you couldn't help but relax. From the spa-like bathroom with all the little extras, like a toothbrush and toothpaste, incase you'd forgotten them, to the comfortable bed, cute little patio area and quiet rooms. The lobby area had several comfortable little seating nooks, providing a nice place to read a book with a cup of tea or wait for a friend to grab you for dinner. The pool area and bar was a wonderful place to soak in the sunshine. The staff were friendly and helpful. I wish the pool had been heated (consider installing solar power heating in future maybe) as even in late Oct it was hot enough for a swim, but I enjoyed the lounge chairs and huge patio area regardless. The only other suggestion would be to adjust the room doors so they don't slam shut but otherwise you couldn't hear anything in your room. The hotel was clean, well kept and a little oasis on the Costa Brava. I can't wait to return."
